You can host it with us or any other ISP of choice. If you want it to be hosted by an ISP outside of Vietnam, then we need a minimum of 2 DNS (Domain Name Server) to do so.

15. When can I use my .VN domain names?

All names are subject to approval by the government of Vietnam. The domain name registered does not violate any other parties rights (infringe, violate any trademark or intellectual property rights) and shall not be used in bad faith. We anticipate this DNS activation process will take about 12-24 hours after you have received our email notice of domains approval.

16. What do I need in order to register the following extensions: .edu.com.vn, gov.com.vn and health.com.vn?

You will have to show proof that you are representing the specified organization in order to be qualified and permitted to register them. You can fax us or email us a digital scan of the proof document of claim.

17. When does my domain name have to be “LIVE”?

According to VNNIC regulation, 60 days after your domain name is approved, you must have a working website with functional pages. Otherwise, VNNIC may have the option to revoke and de-activate the domain name.
